A Sticky Situation (literally)

My life lesson is to never use paint that’s made with cement glue. Cement glue is the glue that’s really sticky, and if you get it on your skin you’re pretty much screwed. Well, I guess screwed is kind of how you can describe me in this lesson.

One summer afternoon my mom and I were outside painting a box for a friend, but the paint that we had was a different kind. We both weren’t really sure what kind of paint it was, because we borrowed it from a friend and had never used it before. As we were painting we noticed the paint was kind of sticky, but didn’t really pay attention to it because we thought it was homemade. When we were finished with the box our hands were really sticky, and after a while they were so sticky that we couldn’t touch anything because our hands would get stuck to it. Finally, my mom was sick of it so she picked up the can, and looked at the ingredients. Well, we found our problem. Turns out the paint we were using was mixed with cement glue. To this day we still have no idea what type of paint we used, but even if I did know I wouldn’t recommend it.

Well, like I said before I wouldn’t recommend this paint unless you personally just want to be a big, sticky magnet. If you use this paint I hope you don’t have any plans for the next couple of days, because those days you’ll be spending trying to get paint off your body.
